Finish depends on the registered external plate rather than on the system: the interface is permanent, and the plates that attach to it span the everyday, formal, ceremonial and minimal collections in steel, silver, gold and platinum.

Clinical plate design.
MagnePlate planning has two parts. The interface is a clinical decision, planned and documented like any fixed system. The collection is a design conversation that continues for years afterward — most patients begin with two or three registered plates and add to them deliberately rather than all at once.
Long-term system care.
The interface and the external plates are cared for separately: the site kept clean and dry, the plates stored dry, separated and away from strong magnetic fields. Every registered plate is recorded, and interface behaviour is reviewed at the Annual Plate Check with the plates a patient uses most.
