The surgeon leads clinical recommendations while nursing, Clinical Plate Design, Patient Services and, when appropriate, materials specialists contribute defined perspectives. The resulting plan should read as one recommendation rather than several competing opinions.
AREOLA separates education, evaluation and consent so patients have time to compare pathways, ask questions and revise preferences. A consultation may appropriately end with a request for records, a second visit or no treatment recommendation.
