Design commitment
The site is built to be navigable by keyboard, readable at increased text size, compatible with screen readers, and legible at the contrast levels assistive users rely on. Motion is restrained and respects reduced-motion preferences.
Where the site falls short
Complex interactive pages — comparison tools, the plate explorer and demonstration forms — are the surfaces most likely to present difficulty. These are reviewed on the same cycle as the rest of the site, and reported problems are prioritized above scheduled work.
Requesting an accommodation
Patients may request materials in an alternative format, an interpreter, or accessibility accommodation at any center through National Patient Services. Requests made several days ahead of an appointment are easier to arrange.
Reporting a barrier
Accessibility problems with this site can be reported through National Patient Services and are routed to the Office of Patient Experience. Reports are acknowledged, and the response describes what will be changed and when.
Content is reviewed with the relevant clinical, nursing, materials or administrative department before publication.
