The question
The study asks how third-generation magnetic interfaces retain registered external plates, and how retention characteristics change with repeated exchange over time.
How the study is designed
A paired laboratory and clinical evaluation: bench assessment using the MagnePlate Retention Analyzer alongside clinical observation of systems in ordinary use. Results are reported together rather than separately, because bench and lived use diverge.
Participation
Clinical participation is open to patients with a third-generation interface and is arranged through the research team. Eligibility is determined by the research team, not by a treating clinician.
Participation in any AREOLA study is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time without affecting care. Operational protocol detail is not published on this page.
