AREOLA publications are institutional documents: proceedings, research reports and departmental summaries held in the AREOLA archive. They are not journal articles, and the institute does not describe them as such.
Study reports from the eight research departments, Symposium proceedings and abstracts, quality and outcomes reporting, and departmental summaries. Reference numbers are internal to the archive and are used consistently across the site.
Acceptance into AREOLA proceedings is an internal editorial process conducted by the responsible department with Research Oversight review. It is not external journal peer review, and the institute states that distinction rather than allowing it to be inferred.
Results that are inconclusive or that fail to support the hypothesis are reported. A register that only contained favourable findings would tell the institute nothing useful about its own practice.
