What the department studies

Magnetic Systems studies the permanent interface and the registered external plates that attach to it: retention characteristics, repeated-exchange behaviour, surface interaction at the interface and how systems perform after years of ordinary use.

Laboratory and clinical together

The department pairs laboratory evaluation with clinical follow-up, because interchangeable systems are used in ways bench work does not predict — plates exchanged more often than expected, stored carelessly, worn during activity they were not planned for.

Generational change

The first clinical magnetic programme began in 2019, second-generation systems arrived in 2022 and the third-generation Retention Analyzer entered use in 2026. Each generation was introduced through structured clinical evaluation rather than a portfolio announcement.
