Clinical development

Supervised consultation, planning, recovery review and participation in elective or revision conferences.

Program rotations

Defined time with nursing, Clinical Plate Design, materials quality, patient outcomes and regional clinical programs.

Scholarship

A faculty-approved project addressing a clinical, materials, educational, human-factors or outcomes question.

Teaching practice

Progressive participation in Academy case discussion and education for multidisciplinary learners.

Program structure.

One cohort, different starting points

Fellows arrive from different elective settings and use those perspectives to ask different questions while learning one institutional standard.

Supervision remains visible

Faculty responsibility, case review and escalation expectations remain explicit throughout the year. The fellow title does not imply independent specialty authority.

Progress reviewed collectively

The Clinical Competency Committee reviews multiple sources of evidence rather than allowing one rotation, project or case count to define progress.
