01

Committee purpose

The Research Oversight Committee assists the Board in reviewing institutional research strategy, ethical safeguards, portfolio balance and the responsible communication of findings.

02

Portfolio review

The committee receives reporting on the eight research departments, 62 active programs, study status, publication activity, material-development questions and significant resource needs.

03

Participant protection

Research governance must preserve voluntary participation, appropriate review and clear separation between study eligibility and access to clinical care. Operational research teams report through dedicated ethics and scientific channels.

04

Responsible reporting

The committee reviews institutional expectations for abstracts, publications, conflicts, data interpretation and public claims. Research findings must include context and avoid overstating clinical meaning.

05

Coordination

Issues crossing clinical quality, finance, compliance or device development may be reviewed jointly with another Board committee while maintaining clear primary responsibility.
